Gisteren vergaderde het hele Congres in een gezamenlijke zitting in het Capitol in Washington. In deze zitting zou men de verkiezing van Joe Biden als volgende president bevestigen, of niet… President Trump had zijn volgelingen opgeroepen om naar Washington te komen en te demonstreren tegen de verkiezingsfraude. Aan deze oproep werd massaal gehoor gegeven. Hoewel de aanhang van Trump voornamelijk bestaat uit brave burgers, werd het Capitol bestormd en er ontstond een grote chaos. In Washington heerst nu de staat van beleg!

Hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) of patriots have descended on Washington DC to show their support for President Trump and to put spineless Republicans on notice who refuse to reject electoral college votes from 6 contested states.

Democrat Mayor Bowser has blocked off the roads, making it nearly impossible for even the most seasoned traveler to navigate around the city. Restaurants are closed, making it next to impossible for these patriots to find food, and bathrooms are nowhere to be found. Additionally, the DC mayor, who refused to call in the National Guard when Black Lives Matter and Antifa were attempting to breach the perimeter of the White House has called in the National Guard to keep MAGA patriots in line.

Undaunted and committed to protecting and preserving free and fair elections in America, these patriots are pressing on, making their voices heard and putting the crooked Democrats on notice that they’re not going to stand by and watch people with bad intentions steal their country.

Twitter blocked Trump for 12 hours. A state of emergency was declared in DC. The woman who was shot by police has died – she was an Air Force vet from California. Police say there were four fatalities.
It’s hard to tell at this point how much violence there actually was. A lot of the people who ‘stormed’ the Capitol building were actually behaving themselves. Police even posed for selfies with them:

The letter was released just before Pence was set to preside over a joint session of Congress, where lawmakers will affirm Joe Biden as the next president. Pence has been facing increasing pressure from Trump and his supporters to somehow intervene and reject electors for Biden.
But Pence, who harbors political ambitions of his own beyond the vice presidency, said giving the vice president unilateral authority to decide presidential contests would be “entirely antithetical” to the design of the constitution.
“It is my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not,” Pence wrote.

Volgens de media is Donald Trump aan het chicaneren, maar de volgelingen van Trump bewonderen zijn vasthoudendheid. Talloze anderen vechten (ook internationaal!) voor het aantonen van deze fraude en het herstel van de democratie. Er is op talloze manieren gefraudeerd, maar bij de fraude met de stemcomputers blijken ook buitenlandse geheime diensten betrokken!
