Rebels enter Tripoli as Gaddafi urges Libyans to take up arms

Geüpload door RussiaToday op 21 aug 2011

Rebels have reportedly entered Tripoli from the west as fighting in Libya appears to be intensifying. Some estimates put the death toll from this weekend alone in the hundreds – with around a thousand injured. It’s also believed that major clashes have seen the rebels capture the capital’s Mitiga airbase. Opposition forces also claim to have freed prisoners locked up during the uprising against Gaddafi’s regime.

NATO Wants Bloodbath in Tripoli Journalist Threatened & Shot At RT 21.08.2011

Independent Journalist Mahdi Nazemroaya threatened by CNN staff (producer) and fired on at Tripoli hotel by NATO backed terrorists and snipers.
NATO has provided direct armed cover to these armed gangs, who have no political project, no dream for Libya and are filled with hatred. All they want is to destroy this beautiful city, especially the tribes, the families and the neighbours that are well known for supporting the Leader of this country.
According to Dr. Musa Ibrahim more than 1300 martyrs and more than 5000 wounded people from todays NATO bombings.

Russia Today bericht:

Some estimates put the death toll from this weekend alone at more than 1,300 people, with around 5,000 injured.
Three of Gaddafi’s sons have reportedly been captured by the rebels. According to the Libyan leader’s spokesman, Gaddafi is prepared to negotiate directly with the head of the rebel transitional council, but says the rebels are not ready to listen.
The International Criminal Court says it can confirm that Gaddafi’s son Saif al-Islam has been arrested.
Earlier on Sunday Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the Libyan leader’s son and a well-known face in the West, has been captured, the head of Libyan rebel national transitional council told the Al Jazeera television network.
Afterward came reports of Saadi Gaddafi being captured in Tripoli and Mohammed Gaddafi surrendering to the rebels.

En Bloomberg bericht:

The Libyan revolt, which began in February, has reduced the availability of light, sweet crude, or oil with low density and sulfur content. The country’s output fell to 100,000 barrels a day last month, a Bloomberg News survey showed. That’s less than 10 percent of the 1.59 million barrels the nation pumped in January, before the uprising.

“The immediate reaction should be that you’ll see more crude come onto the market” from Libya, said Jonathan Barratt, a managing director of Commodity Broking Services Pty in Sydney, who predicts crude in New York will average $100 a barrel this year. “There is that potential for 1 million barrels to come back online soon.”

1300 innocent civilians killed in Tripoli in the last 11 hours + 5000 injured. Nonstop bombings and 3 Apache gunship firing their mini-cannons constantly are the real killers. The gangs of Al Qaida are burning houses, looting shops and kidnapping every woman in sight. Any prominent supporter of Ghadafi was targeted and their houses attacked first. The number of gangs have been increasing because they are coming in from the sea in small NATO craft directed by the Special Forces of all the aggressor nations.
